Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to assist under a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will help design and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide hands-on therapy to residents to improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and OTA certification.
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift and move residents, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.

Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Location: Morningstar Residential Care Center - Oswego, New York Pay: Up to $35/hr + $4,000 SIGN ON BONUS! Schedule: Full Time

Summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to our residents. The OTA will assist with the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments and evaluations, and provide hands-on therapy sessions to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of our residents
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and goals
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions to improve resident function, mobility, and overall well-being
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Participate in peer review and staff development activities to enhance professional growth and development

Qualifications
