Job summary

Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, NY seeks an Occupational Therapist to restore function and promote independence for residents. This full-time role offers up to $46/hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s preferred, if applicable).
• Certified and holds a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and professional standards
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and daily living skills
• Perform evaluations, annual screens, and nursing-requested assessments
• Document treatments, progress, and billing in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care meetings, in-services, and ongoing education
• Maintain patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

Schedule: Full Time
