Job summary

Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, NY, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will help design and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide hands-on therapy to enhance residents’ function and well-being.

The role requires completion of an accredited OTA program and certification, with opportunities to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Location: Morningstar Residential Care Center - Oswego, New York Pay: Up to $35/hr + $4,000 SIGN ON BONUS! Schedule: Full Time

Summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to our residents. The OTA will assist with the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments and evaluations, and provide hands-on therapy sessions to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to lift and move residents, as needed
