Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team. You will provide person-centered care, implement therapy plans under supervision, and support residents aiming to improve independence and quality of life.

Applicants must hold a valid Texas OTA license and a COTA credential. Experience in SNF or long-term care is preferred, and familiarity with Net Health documentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OT treatment practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to restore or improve function.
• Provide services under supervision of an OT in accordance with physician orders.
• Relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist as needed.
• Deliver treatments per the established plan of care and document thoroughly.
