Zusammenfassung

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improved quality of life.

Responsibilities include planning and administering OT treatments, working under an OT, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with families and caregivers. Texas licensure and COTA credential are required. SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents with disabilities to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Relay requests for service to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the OT.
• Complete required documentation per company policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
