Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Yoakum, TX 77995 is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to plan and administer treatments for residents with disabilities, under the supervision of an OT. You will relay service requests and ensure care aligns with the established plan.

New grads are welcome; SNF/LTC experience is preferred, with in-house rehab and flexible schedules as part of the package. Paradigm values dedicated clinicians delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Occupational Therapist.
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
