Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Texas. You will provide person-centered care, deliver therapy under an OT, and help residents improve independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation in line with policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
