Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support residents on a PRN basis. You will plan and administer OT treatments under supervision of an OT, helping residents regain independence.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. In-house rehab team and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
