Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

In this role, you’ll help patients receive quality treatment and work with the OT to develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient’s needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapy assistant (OTA)
• Work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives quality treatment and achieves functional outcomes
• Develop and implement OT treatment programs with OT direction
• Assist patients with all phases of OT treatment and techniques
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses after each visit
• Maintain continuous communication with the OT, Rehab Director or facility staff
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard OT equipment
