Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will help treat patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care, help implement occupational therapy treatment programs, and document patient progress while maintaining clear communication with the OT team

Qualifications

• Must be qualified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• Experience working under an Occupational Therapist preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized plans of care and document patient responses accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs with guidance from the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with the Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
