Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in restoring function and independence. You will implement OTA programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapeutic activities across in-facility settings.

You'll collaborate with therapists and care teams to tailor treatment, document progress, and help patients regain strength and confidence. Powerback emphasizes patient-centered care, growth opportunities, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities to help patients recover.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Provide holistic care addressing the whole patient and individual needs.
• Collaborate with therapists and other care team members; refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintain compassionate, patient-centered care and support patients to regain independence.
