Synchrony Rehab in Louisville, KY is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. The OTA will implement treatment plans, assist with ADL training, and support patient progress and documentation.

Must hold an OTA license and CPR certification. This evening position includes comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team focused on patient outcomes and continuous professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state OTA licensure or certification.
• Current valid CPR certification, preferred
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• 0-1 years of OTA experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques aimed at improving independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation of patients’ responses and progress, reporting findings to the supervising OT.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support Occupational Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
