Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role operates in an interdisciplinary setting to help clients improve daily living activities and functional independence.

The OTA must hold current state licensure/certification and CPR, with 0–1 years of experience preferred. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) match, and student loan

Qualifications

• OTA licensure in good standing is required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in therapy settings.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress, reporting to the supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies for progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
