Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support an interdisciplinary team in providing therapeutic interventions under an occupational therapist. The OTA will assist with treatment plans, ADL training, and progress documentation in a supportive care environment.

The role requires OTA licensure/certification and may include CPR certification; degree from an accredited OTA program is expected. 0-1 years experience preferred, with patient-focused education offered.

Qualifications

• OTA licensure or certification required and current.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Degree from accredited OTA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists.
• Administer ADL training and therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and report findings to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
