Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (P-OTA) to join a 150-bed SNF in a rural location in Mount Olive, NC. Qualifications

• OTA associate degree and valid state license or certification.
• Experience in SNF or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement treatment plans and document patient progress
• Provide hands‑on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises and activities
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and goals
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in the delivery of occupational therapy services
