Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the interdisciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate, and implement group programming to meet patients' treatment needs.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate evaluations and provides individual treatment as needed.

Requirements:

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Training and Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health or with specific age populations (geriatrics, pediatrics)

Special Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, creative and flexible.
