The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate, and implement group programming to meet the treatment needs of patients.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary treatment team to determine appropriate evaluations and provides individual treatment as needed.
Requirements: Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Training and Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health or with specific age populations (geriatrics, pediatrics)
Special Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, creative and flexible.
