Position: Occupational Therapist FT (64 Hours)

Position Summary

Under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with patients from children to geriatric age groups with clinical competency. Completes established competencies within the designated introductory period.

Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by the therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; ensures equipment performance prior to each use.

Qualifications

Education: Required: Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant, or verified military service, training, or education credited by an accredited OTA program.

Experience: Preferred: 1 year experience.

Certifications: Required: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by AOTA. Licensure as required by state law.
