Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Texas. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve better independence and quality of life under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

We value licensed Texas OTA professionals with a COTA credential, strong teamwork, and experience with Net Health documentation. New graduates are welcome and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT according to physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the OT.
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
• Provide instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
