Lakeside Nursing & Rehabilitation in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program. The role involves delivering skilled therapy to geriatric patients, with a focus on functional recovery and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates hold an OTA license and may join with any level of experience; new grads are welcome. We value CAPLICO principles in daily patient care and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapy Assistants at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
