Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
- Collaborate with a team and refer patients as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
- Aim to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient independence and function.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in facility settings.
