Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Lifelong licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and deliver therapy treatments.
• Provide healing and hands-on support for the patients.
• Execute programs to enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence.
• Adapt to patient needs and find enjoyment in the variety of work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and refer patients for additional care.
• Prioritize patient-centered care ensuring the highest quality service.
