Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support goal-oriented treatments established by the Occupational Therapist, helping patients achieve maximum independence in activities of daily living and upper-extremity functioning.

The role requires an associate degree in OT, Nevada state licensure as an OTA in process, NBCOT certification, and BLS. You'll work within a hospital setting delivering patient-centered care with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association academic and intern requirement for competence in OT.
• License/Certification: Nevada State License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (must be in the process of licensure and practicing under a student license). Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.
• Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
