Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate activities of daily living, design goal‑oriented treatment plans, and help patients regain independence after illness or injury.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, NV state OT licensure, NBCOT certification, and current BLS. Prior experience is preferred but not required; on-site supervision is available as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy satisfying AOTA academic and intern requirements.
  • Nevada state licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • NBCOT certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience: None required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive evaluation of ADL functioning and deliver goal-oriented OT treatment to facilitate maximum independence.

Job Description

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting ADL functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the AOTA academic and intern requirements for competence.

Experience

None required, but preferred

License/Certification

Nevada State Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.

Other

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Note

May work as a Graduate of Occupational Therapy with recognition of the Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners with on-site direct supervision.
