Valley Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluations of ADL function and deliver goal-directed therapy to promote maximum independence for patients. The role supports a teaching hospital with diverse, evidence-based care pathways and a strong emphasis on quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold a Nevada State OT license, NBCOT certification, and BLS, with no mandatory experience required, though prior OT exposure is preferred.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy per AOTA standards.
• Experience: None required, but preferred.
• License/Certification: Nevada State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist; NBCOT; BLS.

Job Description

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting ADL functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the AOTA academic and intern requirements for competence.

Experience: None required, but preferred

License/Certification: Nevada State Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Note: May work as a Graduate of Occupational Therapy with recognition of the Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners with on-site direct supervision.
