Job summary

Powerback is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to work alongside the Director of Rehab in various settings, helping patients regain independence through tailored therapy programs. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program meeting AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Hold or be eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments under supervision.
• Assess patient progress, modify therapy goals as needed, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered support to patients and their families.

Education

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (ACOTE/AOTA compliant)

NBOT certification or eligible

Licensed/eligible for state licensure
