Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs and perform treatments within a facility setting. You will follow recovery plans, address whole-patient care, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure high-quality services for patients and families.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited OTA program, NBCOT certification, and state licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities; follow developed recovery plans; deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and work as a team member with colleagues; assist in referrals to support patients' overall care.
• Maintain a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Position Overview

Job Summary: As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients recover through implementation of occupational therapy programs, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, focus on restoring and enhancing physical abilities and independence, collaborate with peers, and ensure high‑quality, compassionate care for patients and families.
