Powerback in Scarborough, Maine is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist in implementing therapy programs aimed at restoring physical independence in patients. Responsibilities include delivering treatments and collaborating with the team for quality care. Qualifications include being a graduate of an accredited program and holding the appropriate certification and licensure. Title

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location: In‑facility

Reporting Structure: Reports to Director of Rehab

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments to patients to restore their physical abilities and independence.

Collaborate with peers and refer patients as needed to ensure high‑quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards.
2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
3. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Compensation

USD $27.00 – $34.00 per hour.
