Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in California. You will work with the Director of Rehab to deliver patient-centered therapy in various facilities, implementing programs and tracking progress.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an ACOTE/AOTA accredited OTA program with NBCOT certification and licensure eligibility. We offer mentorship, CEUs, and visa/relocation support to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ACOTE/AOTA accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification required/eligible.
• Licensure as required by state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement OT programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver treatments under supervision.
• Assess progress, adjust goals, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered support to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments under supervision.
• Assess patient progress, modify therapy goals as needed, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program meeting AOTA & ACOTE standards.
2. Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
3. Hold or be eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Salary

USD $48.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
