Job summary

Desert Blossom Post Acute in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and help geriatric patients regain independence.

Graduate of an accredited OTA program with an active state license is required. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a strong CAPLICO-centered team culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Desert Blossom Post Acute in Mesa, AZ, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Pay

$30 - $35/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
