Coral Desert Rehabilitation in St. George, UT is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its in-house rehab program.

You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative interventions, administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and assistive devices as needed. Candidates must graduate from an accredited OTA program and hold an active state license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license/registration where applicable.
• All experience levels welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and devices.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with supervising OT.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising OT.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - FULL TIME - CORAL DESERT REHABILITATION - ST. GEORGE, UT

Coral Desert Rehabilitation in St. George, UT is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable
