Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. We offer a flexible PRN schedule with competitive pay based on experience. Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide rehabilitative treatments under OT supervision, administer rehab procedures, assess progress, and communicate outcomes to the supervising OT. We welcome candidates with all levels of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT – PRN

We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team.

PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $35- $45/hour based on experience
