Bellway Health and Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services in the facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with regulations. Status: Full-Time or PRN.

The OT will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans with goals, coordinate therapy schedules with the team, and supervise COTAs while maintaining accurate documentation and billing practices. Competitive benefits and supportive work environment offered.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in AL is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Strong communication with residents and families.

Responsabilités

• Screen residents to determine best intervention and treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with goals.
• Communicate findings and plans to residents, families, and team.
• Schedule therapy in collaboration with team.
• Document and bill OT services accurately.

Bellway Health and Rehab is hiring for an Occupational Therapist OT to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Status: Full-Time or PRN

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in AL
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
