Continuum Rehab Group in Albuquerque seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities. You will provide evidence-based OT services to residents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials.
• Graduated from an OT program recognized by AOTA with a relevant degree.
• NBCOT designation as an OTR if required by state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Use evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary OT to residents.
• Provide skilled OT services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Counsel patients and families; collaborate with caregivers and providers.
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
