Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Albuquerque is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Licensed OT with a degree in OT and NBCOT designation is required. We offer competitive pay of $45-$55 per hour, comprehensive benefits including 401k, PTO, medical, dental and vision, free CEUs, licensure reimbursement after 1 year, and strong mentorship programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with state licensure.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (B.S., M.A., or M.S.) recognized by AOTA.

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary therapy to patients with physical disorders.
• Offers consultation and counseling to patients and families about therapy options.
• Supervises OTAs, temporary licensees, students, and support staff per licensure rules.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
