Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care facilities. You will provide evidence-based therapy aimed at improving functional independence and quality of life for residents.

Candidates must be licensed OT with NBCOT designation. We offer mentorship, CEUs, licensure reimbursement, and a supportive culture that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with NBCOT designation where required by state.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program recognized by AOTA.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary OT services.
• Consult with patients, families, and care teams about therapy plans.
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff as permitted.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
