Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group seeks an Occupational Therapist to join its in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Truth or Consequences, NM.

Licensed OT with AOTA-recognized degree and NBCOT OTR designation (where required) is expected. Open to all experience levels; mentorship and clinical excellence programs are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT OTR designation (as/state mandates).
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Deliver skilled OT services to patients in need of rehabilitation services.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients and families, and to caregivers and other providers.
• Supervise OTAs, temporary licensees, students, and support staff per licensure requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.

• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
