Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Truth or Consequences, NM. This role emphasizes compassionate, clinically driven care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative and skilled therapy to residents in SNF/long-term care.
• Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to improve physical functioning.
• Supervise OTAs, temporary licensees, students and support staff as allowed by licensure.
• Consult with patients and families to plan and adjust therapy programs.

Experience/Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated).
• This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
