Continuum Rehab Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Socorro, NM. Licensed OT will provide evidence-based clinical interventions, supervise OT assistants, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to support residents' recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients and families related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per licensure requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

• This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.

• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
