FullShift Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment. The position offers a 13-week contract with option to extend or a permanent placement, and days shift. This role welcomes new graduates and experienced OTs alike, emphasizing patient independence and functional outcomes, with a supportive team guiding onboarding to contract completion.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) – New grads welcome.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions
• Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans
• Focus on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
