Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility assignment. The role offers a 13-week contract with the option to extend, or a permanent placement path. Shifts are days, with a competitive pay structure and housing and travel stipends for travelers.

Ideal candidates are new-grad friendly, able to work in a fast-paced SNF setting, and eager to make meaningful functional improvements for patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions
• Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans
• Focus on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
