Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive or developmental limitations to improve independence in daily living and work activities. Develops individualized plans of care and delivers therapeutic interventions.

The role includes educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with the care team, and supervising OT assistants and aides as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure in the practice state is required.
• Relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations with individualized care plans.
• Provide treatment to improve activities of daily living, fine motor and cognitive skills.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants and aides as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety.
• Document evaluations, treatments and discharge planning accurately.
