Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to respond to inquiries from patients or staff with clarity.
• Ability to present information to management or boards clearly.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations to assess ROM, strength, motor planning, and ADL status.
• Establishes and provides treatment methods to improve physical and emotional well-being.
• Reviews referrals and records to determine appropriate treatment.
• Fabrication of upper extremity splints or adaptive equipment as needed.
• Consults with healthcare team to plan coordinated care.
• Provides modalities and education to patients and families.
• Instructs patients on home treatment procedures.
• Records treatment progress and results in charts or systems.
• Plans lectures and training on OT topics for staff and community.
