Job summary

Midtown Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Memphis invites an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered therapy within a warm, collaborative team. You will deliver screening, evaluation, and ongoing treatment while maintaining positive interactions with residents and staff.

You will design meaningful treatment plans, supervise assistants, ensure compliance with regulations, pursue continuing education, and maintain state licensure to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Deliver OT services, including screening, evaluation, and treatment.
• Complete documentation and billing in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise assistants and rehab technicians.
• Develop and enhance OT programs to support outcomes.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Ensure environmental safety and patient rights policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Pursue continuing education and professional development.
• Understand payment models and treatment guidelines.
