Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services for patients.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and/or overseeing occupational therapy services.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines related to documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective, patient-centered interactions.
• Refer patients for treatment to occupational therapy assistants.
• Directly supervise occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and team activities.
• Develop and enhance occupational therapy programs and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Enhance clinical expertise through continuing education.
• Maintain valid state licensure.
• Conduct oneself ethically and professionally.
