Job summary

Ridgecrest Post Acute is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and support rehabilitation goals. You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, train staff, and communicate with physicians, families, and the health team to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, participating in care conferences, and providing patient education on home exercise programs and safety. A California license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Proficient with Net Health and PointClickCare software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTA and students; coordinate with physicians and health team.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with families and staff.
• Complete timely documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Educate residents and families on goals, exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
