Job summary

CYPRESSWOODS in seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents on a daily basis, coordinating with families and physicians.

You will supervise COTAs, develop individualized plans, document thoroughly, and participate in care conferences, while educating families on home exercise programs and fall prevention.

This on-site role requires license in Texas and strong collaboration with the health team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Licensed OT in the state; CE requirements apply.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and care team.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per policies.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home programs and safety.
