Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services in our skilled nursing setting. The role involves delivering patient-centered care and working closely with facilities and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs, manage a plan of care, document thoroughly, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Veterans Homes or healthcare as an OT Leader.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
• Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary Operating Software.
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (Texas).
• Experience in health care / hospitality or other related field.
• Passion for working in a retirement community with the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy and related services per plan of care.
• Supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs where required.
• Engage in case management and maintain professional conduct.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.
