Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, Inc. (TMH) seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy services authorized by physicians, and to participate in treatment planning with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires an ACOTE-accredited OT degree and an active Florida OT license.

Temporary permits may be considered. The incumbent will collaborate with a diverse care team, implement individualized care plans and supervise support staff, contributing to TMH's commitment to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program conferred before 2007 may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and competent occupational therapy as ordered by a physician.
• Plans, organizes and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to OT principles.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Supervises work of support personnel.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in occupational therapy from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)-accredited educational program.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited educational program conferred prior to 2007 may be accepted.

Required Experience:

• None

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license. Temporary permit may be accepted.
