Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Anderson Hospital to support patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings. The role includes evaluating patients, planning treatment, and documenting progress while working within a compassionate, faith-based system.

The ideal candidate will hold a state license, have 2+ years of experience, and participate in care conferences. BLS is preferred; accommodations and benefits support are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred on hire; required within 30 days for BSMH / at hire for RSFH).
• Two years of experience in an equivalent setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations and treatment plans.
• Administer prescribed OT treatments and create equipment for patient needs.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, daily activities and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
